As an interviewer, your job is to select interview partners near your place of residence on the basis of fixed criteria and conduct interviews with them.

Which employment relationship does the interviewer job entail?
As an interviewer, you work for us as a freelancer on a project-related contract basis.
How is the work of an interviewer remunerated?
As an interviewer, you receive a contingent fee for each successfully conducted interview. This fee is based on the duration of the interview, the method used, and the availability of the required target person. All obligations towards tax authorities and other institutions that arise from your work for medupha GmbH and any fees, claims, and expenses paid within its scope remain your full responsibility.
How much can I earn as an interviewer?
Monthly income depends on the number of successfully processed interviews and your capacities available for interviewing activities.
Do you cover travel and other expenses?
An allowance for expenses is contained in the interviewer fee for most study projects. For special projects, we partially cover travel, parking, and telephone fees.
How long does the average interview take?
Interviews normally take between 20 and 60 minutes each. Some interviews may be shorter than 20 minutes or longer than 60. This always depends on the project in question.
Who are the interviewees?
medupha specialises in the healthcare sector. Our surveys target physicians, pharmacists, healthcare staff, and other health professionals. Patients and people affected by particular diseases constitute another target group.
Are (potential) interviewees compensated for their time?
Interviewees are generally compensated for their time with an incentive (fee or voucher).
Do you provide addresses of interviewees?
For some surveys, we provide our interviewers with addresses of specific interviewees. In most cases, however, you will be choosing your own interviewees on the basis of a specific selection process. Our field manager will be happy to help you and provide useful tips.
Does the institute announce the visit of its interviewers to the interviewees?
No. Normally, interviewers contact their subjects personally or over the telephone in order to arrange an appointment.
Can I choose my schedule freely or are there fixed working hours?
You can freely choose your working hours within the specified duration of a survey.
How do you guarantee data protection?
medupha is a member of BVM, VMÖ, and VdMI. It works in compliance with current data protection legislation. Interview results are always represented anonymously and in terms of groups, preventing any conclusions about individual participants. Any personal data of interviewees are only processed for the purpose of compensation, which takes place separately from the processing of their responses. All interviewees are instructed on our data protection procedures. All interviewers working for medupha are obliged to adhere to our data protection regulations.
Will my work be controlled?
Yes. medupha adheres to high quality standards. Its membership of the German and Austrian professional associations obliges medupha to carry out controls. The institute is further accountable towards its clients. The controls concern the actual execution of the interviews, on the one hand, and their quality and completeness, on the other hand.
